Our days are punctuated by scouting new talent, attending market appointments, and scrolling Instagram in an effort to unearth the products, people, and news you actually need to know. Here’s what we Slacked one another about this week.

Fizz Factor: Ghia’s New Flavor

Although many people credit Seedlip with supercharging the nonalcoholic movement in the U.S., Ghia’s bitter, sip-worthy aperitif changed the game for me. And when the brand introduced its flagship product as a soda in cans, I couldn’t stop buying it. I’m now a subscriber every month and will 100 percent be adding its newest flavor, Le Spritz (lime and salt), to my regular order. Slightly less bitter than the original but still just as flavorful, it’s ideal for the hottest days of summer—or anytime you just don’t want to drink. —Samantha Weiss-Hills, deputy commerce editor

Office Hours: Afternoon Light x Emeco

Finding a desk chair that marries style and function is harder than getting your email in-box down to zero. But iconic furniture brand Emeco may have a solution. In a new collaboration with decor shop Afternoon Light, it’s launching two exclusive colorways of its utilitarian Navy Officer Chair, first designed in the 1940s. The emerald green option, with navy Maharam striped cushions, will perk up any work zone. Now if only it could organize our calendars, too. Kate McGregor, associate design editor

Blow Up: Sasha Bikoff x Oliver James

If you didn’t already know that the days of swans and flamingos wading around the pool were over, interior designer Sasha Bikoff is here to remind you with her new capsule collection of upholstered floats for Oliver James. “When I completed my home in East Hampton, I noticed that my style evolved into something more mature, more elegant,” says Bikoff. The assortment of nine single and two double-size rafts comes in an array of neon hues with equally punchy piping. They’re also accompanied by a USB rechargeable pump so you can quickly inflate (and then deflate) as you make your end-of-summer backyard party rounds. Lydia Geisel, home editor

Mixed Blessings: Salvesen Graham’s Wallpaper and Fabric Launch

No one does patterns quite like the Brits, and the consensus across the pond is clear: One print is most definitely never enough. So London design studio Salvesen Graham has debuted not just three new floral wallpapers, but a rickrack-esque zigzag print as well (available in both fabric and wallpaper). They look better together, of course. Lindsey Mather, digital director

Luxe Me Up: Orior

All of Orior’s new collection (now on display at its first retail space at 33 Mercer Street in New York City) is insanely impressive—but of course I have favorites. The Corca side table’s chubby bronze frame and Irish crystal top reminds me of outer space, and the Hex credenza’s masterful wood-inlaid work looks like as an optical illusion. Finally, the ’80s-inspired Brea side table has velvet corduroy–lined drawers that recall the era of luxury and excess. Never have I seen a more diverse and interesting array in just a few pieces.
